The Peddinghaus Leopard 1 turret represents the most accurately shaped Leopard 1 turret available in 1:35 scale (according to Mike Shackleton who literally wrote the book on Leopard 1's - 3 of them actually). The set contains parts that may be used to represent a range of gun tanks which featured the turret appliqué armour, from the A1A1 to the A5.

Production and sales of this conversion set ceased years ago, but rumour has it that this set has been re-cast and is available again in limited numbers (a few have been showing up on evil-Bay). It has been suggested that interested parties contact Mr. Peddinghaus by way of his decal website.

These pictures feature the Peddinghaus turret next to the Revell turret (in dark green plastic) for easy comparison. The incorrect shape at the front of the Revell turret is readily apparent in these photos.
